Global Night Commute - Invisible Children.

Sleeping bags? check. Marta railway free overnight parking? czech. extra clothing including leggings, gloves, beanie and hoodie? cheque. Early evening mark drive to the nearest station (about 20 mins drive, right after entering the perimeter) for the Global Night Commute, April 29 oh6, downtown atl.

it'd been a while since the last time i rode Marta, ("it's smarta") but i detected our southbound train about 10 seconds before it was in sight. ;) you pick that instinct of sound/vibration sensitivity when you're late for class.

Mark's first ride. he seemed unfazed and unimpressed. i was amused that they had installed tvs in each tram. (the guy in the background was with us at the station. we knew where he was headed coz he was carrying a sleeping bag too. and he wasn't the only one we saw along the way)

Mark caught up on studies as we waited for most of the crowd to come. we situated ourselves under the shade of a tree on a little slope that opened up into the rest of the park field. city lights in the backgruond. familiar?

ashley and i got aquainted better as dusk came around, as we waited more on others to arrive.

night come, with most of the crowd there, ashley and i walked over to sit on a concrete path below good lighting for our one page art projects, which will be compiled into a book. V: looking straight up from where i sat with my back against the post..

at around 1am, entirely tucked into my sleeping back; the breeze brought cold that chilled the bones.... my lightsticks are the funnest things.

City lights off to the right blare in comparison to the lamposts at the borders of the park. the row of lights in front show the edge of the field. ppl were filled up all the way till there. you get Ashley's excitement of writing to the president, while Mark slumbers behind us.

more is to come, but i need to get the film developed & digitized..
